Fight verses good and evil. Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer. He must save his city - Manhattan from the black magic of his own his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina). But takes more power to do so. He takes Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel) as his apprentice and teachs him the science of magic. Thus Dave Stutler became Balthazar Blake's apprentice. Together they try to fight back the bad.
